SEDEX Member Ethical Trader Audit (SMETA)
Introduction
Sedex is a membership organization which provides one of the world’s leading online platforms to improve working conditions in the global supply chain. In this course, we will explain the process of the SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit and how these fits into the overall supply chain due diligence process of major brands and companies.
This course covers foundational concepts of the ETI Base Code and discusses on how the requirements can be incorporated into day-to-day business operations. There will also be a very brief overview of how to prepare for a SMETA audit and discuss possible actions which can be taken to ensure.
