ECO OFFICE INITIATIVES PROJECT (EOIP)
The Timber Certification Incentive Programme (TCIP) is an initiative under the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) designed to support timber-based companies in achieving and renewing international timber certifications such as Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

This programme helps enhance your company’s market reputation, build consumer trust, and expand into new markets while ensuring compliance with responsible timber sourcing.
Eligibility
Companies must:
• Be registered with MTIB
• Operate in timber-related sub-sectors such as:
• Sawmill
• Plywood
• Kumai wood
• Building Carpentry & Joinery (BJC)
• Furniture
• Export and other timber production industries
• Have been in operation for at least 2 years

Incentives Available

Renewal Application
• Claim up to RM6,000 of the audit cost
• Completion period: 6 months

New Application
• Claim up to RM6,000 of the audit cost
• Completion period: 12 months
